Joanna Parker joins Lower School as fourth and fifth-grade teacher
Ms. Joanna Parker will join the Lower School faculty as a fourth and fifth-grade teacher.
Ms. Parker comes to Rabun Gap from Trimont Christian Academy in Franklin, North Carolina where she taught elementary students. Prior to teaching at Trimont, she taught at various schools in the Charlotte area and has taught elementary school since 2004. She holds an M.A. in Teaching from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a B.S. in Clothing, Textiles, & Merchandising from Western Carolina University.
In her spare time, Ms. Parker enjoys hiking, reading, sudoku, and spending time with her family. She lives off campus with her husband and their two daughters.
