  • Spiritual Life

    at Rabun Gap
Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School has roots in the Presbyterian tradition but welcomes and embraces students from all religious backgrounds.

Our Chapel program is one of the oldest traditions at Rabun Gap and emphasizes fostering the Christian faith. Led by our school Chaplain, the Chapel program strives to encourage all of our faculty, staff, and students in the development of their spiritual growth. Our goal is to cultivate a compassionate campus so that we might, in turn, send students in the world with service and love. Students are encouraged to help shape our chapel topics and assist in leading the worship services, which reflect the love of Christ Jesus.

  • Service Activities

The Chapel program partners with other school clubs to organize regular school-wide service projects that unite campus together around a common cause. Past projects have included collecting donations for Bahamas Hurricane Relief and local charities.
  • Religious Dinners

The Chaplain, along with other faculty members, hosts meals for our non-Christian students on the major holidays of their religious traditions. These programs are important pieces of campus life and allow all members of the community to learn about different faiths while creating an inclusive environment for students from all religious backgrounds.
