  • Your Roadmap

    to College
At Rabun Gap, it’s not if you’re going to college - but where. Each year, 100% of the graduating class earns acceptances to the top colleges and universities in the U.S. and abroad.
Our students earn acceptances into some of the most competitive and selective programs. Graduates attend Cornell, NYU, Johns Hopkins, Harvard, Georgia Tech, UPenn, and more.
Our experienced college counseling team is committed to ensuring students and parents are equipped and ready for the college admission process. That starts in eighth grade as students select classes for high school.

Throughout the Upper School years, our team guides students through using the Naviance software to track their college admission journey. Our College counselors are always available to discuss college and career planning, and we have a dedicated Student Commons for students to work on applications.

Juniors and seniors attend College Counseling seminars where they take an in-depth approach to the college application process - from choosing a best-fit institution, writing admission essays, learning about financial aid, and applying for scholarships. The College Counseling Office also sponsors on-campus college fairs, college visits, and workshops featuring college admission leaders for parents and students.
