  • Get involved and

    explore your interests
Rabun Gap offers endless opportunities for Middle and Upper School students to engage with peers and explore their passions. Whether it’s having a deep discussion about philosophy, paddleboarding in Indian Lake, or teaching others about their home country with the Global Awareness Program, students who participate in clubs and activities agree it's a key part of the Rabun Gap experience.

Clubs and groups allow students to plan events and get involved in interests outside of the classroom. Available clubs vary year-to-year. Student clubs at the Upper School meet regularly during the school week and may participate in after school or weekend events and activities.

The Afternoon Program

Learning does not stop when the traditional school day ends. Our afternoon program is a major component of the Rabun Gap curriculum and expereince. Students explore new horizons, develop their talents, and make friends in other classes as they play soccer, paddle in Indian Lake, act as stewards to our beautiful surroundings, or learn to fly thorough the air in a Cirque troupe. The Middle School also has a robust afternoon program that includes athletics and academic enrichment.
