Rosemarie and Pat Chastain met while working in the summer work program at Rabun Gap. They have been married for 27 years.
Pat Chastain ‘67 and Rosemarie (Easterling) Chastain ‘70 met at Rabun Gap in the summer of 1966. They were both a part of the summer work program. Pat spent the summer on the field crew and Rose worked in the dining hall. They developed a special bond that only grew during their time here at the School. They both had long careers - Pat retired from the phone company in Atlanta after 35 years. Rose retired from banking in Atlanta. The couple has been happily married for 27 years and they have three children and four grandchildren.
