Local children's book author visits Lower School

Ms. Kristy Hamby, author of Chicken Lips and Chicken Lips: One Lucky Cow visited the Lower School to do a reading on October 11.
North Georgia author Kristy Hamby made a special visit to the Lower School on Friday, October 11 to share her second children’s book Chicken Lips: One Lucky Cow, a follow-up story to her first book Chicken Lips.

Ms. Hamby lives on a farm and was inspired to write Chicken Lips after seeing her daughters’ love for their real-life cow named Chicken Lips. In her new book, Chicken Lips has an adventure after meeting two stray kittens at the fair.
