Rabun Gap Choir visits First Presbyterian Church of Highlands

Choir makes bi-annual visit to First Presbyterian Church of Highlands.
The Rabun Gap Choir had their bi-annual visit to the First Presbyterian Church of the Highlands this past weekend.

Simon Park '20 (flute) and Muya Kahiga '19 (piano) played Bach's Arioso together, a quartet of seniors sang the well-loved hymn "Sweet Sweet Spirit" in 4-part harmony, Phoenix Tate '19 read scripture in the service, Anja Racic '19 spoke about her personal experience at Rabun Gap, and the whole choir sang two pieces "Draw the Circle Wide," a song about inclusion and acceptance of all people. They also sang "I Believe," a song with a somber and meaningful text: a poem etched on the wall of a concentration camp during the Holocaust.

Students stayed for lunch and fellowship with church members after the service.
