Eagles Travel team loses in two sets at Tallulah Falls

The Game Team took the court in the second match of a doubleheader at Tallulah Falls, and although they did everything they could do to play strong defense against the impressive hitting onslaught by Tallulah, they simply couldn't make
the ball drop on the other side of the court. They lost in 2 sets, 25-9, 25-12.

Coach BySura had this to say after the game, "We didn't have a lot of focus tonight. It is a step backwards for us, especially given the fact that we missed 10 of 15 serve attempts. My girls didn't give themselves an opportunity to win. I am sure they will bounce back next week after a needed break."

The Lady Eagles host Nantahala next Saturday at home in the Tri-State Championship Tri-Match.  Come out and support the Eagles as they take the court at 12:00 PM against Nantahala.  The winner of that game plays Highlands for the championship.
