Eagles defeat Blues on the road

Rabun Gap tallied 11 hits to go along with 6 walks and 6 hit batters to roll to a five inning 18-5 victory over the Asheville School in Asheville Friday afternoon.  Jordan Hajazin led the Eagles at the plate with 3 hits and 4 RBI’s including a 2 run home run in the second inning.  Seth Justus was the Eagles’ only other repeat hitter with a single and double in the game.  Adam Justus pitched the first two innings to earn the win while Michael Messer and Carter King combined for 3 scoreless innings to preserve the victory.  With the win, the Eagles' record now stands at 5-1 in the conference and 19-6 for the season.
