Eagls win big in late comeback!
In the second game, Rabun Gap fell behind 7-3 before the bats came alive in the fifth inning. The Eagles collected 8 hits in the inning to push across 7 runs and take the lead. In the sixth inning the Eagles kept hitting and scored 4 more runs on 5 hits with the big blow being a Dallas Earnhardt 2 run home run. Michael Messer entered the game in relief of Adam Justus in the fourth inning and pitched the final 3.1 innings to pick up the victory and run his record to 5-0 on the season. Eight Eagles were repeat hitters for the game, with Carter King and Divontae Murphy leading the way with 3 hits each. With the wins, the Eagles are now 15-4 on the season.
