Rabun Gap moves to 12-4
On Tuesday, the Eagles rebounded from a disappointing loss on Saturday to down the Asheville School Blues 9-3 to earn a conference victory. Dallas Earnhardt picked up the win leading a trio of pitchers who shut down the Blues. Michael Messer and Adam Justus also pitched very well in the victory. The Eagles only managed six hits in the game, but were able to take advantage of 7 walks and a number of Asheville errors to score 9 runs. For the Eagles, Gavyn Jones had 2 hits including a double and Harrison Shomaker had a bases loaded triple to drive in 3 runs. Rabun Gap is now 12-4 on the season.
