Eagles win at Pisgah

Rabun Gap jumped out to a 6-1 lead Wednesday night at Pisgah and then hung on for an 8-6 victory to run their record to 8-3 on the season.  Carter King led the Eagles both at the plate and on the mound, pitching five innings to earn his second victory of the season against no losses.  At the plate, Carter was 3-4 with two doubles and three RBI’s for the game.  Divontae Murphy collected two hits and also scored a run to help the Eagle offense.  Adam Justus pitched two strong innings to close things out and record a save in the hard fought victory.
