Eagles drop a heartbreaker on the road

Defensive lapses lead to a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of the Christ School Greenies Tuesday evening.  Five Rabun Gap errors played a large role in allowing the Greenies to come back from an 8-2 deficit and tie the game in the sixth inning.  After the Eagles failed to score in the top of the seventh, Christ School won the game on a suicide squeeze in the bottom of the seventh inning.  Gavyn Jones led the Eagles at the plate with 4 hits and 3 RBI’s, while Carter King added two singles.  Rabun Gap’s record now stands at 6-3 on the season.
