Eagles win at Cannon School
Rabun Gap traveled to Charlotte on Friday to take on the Cannon school. The Eagles scored 14 runs in the first inning (12 of them before an out was recorded) to cruise to a 17-1 victory. Michael Messer pitched three strong innings to pick up his first varsity win for the Eagles. Rabun Gap was lead offensively by Gavyn Jones with 3 hits and 3 RBI’s. Garrison Melzer, Seth Justus, and Hunter Stanley each had 2 hits in the game with Stanley also driving in 3 runs.
