Eagles move to 2-1 on the season
Trailing 1-0 entering the fifth inning on Wednesday night at Walhalla, the Eagles exploded for 4 runs and then added seven more runs in the sixth to cruise to a 12-3 win. At the plate, the Eagles were led by Gavyn Jones who had 3 hits and 2 RBI’s. Garrison Mellzer, Seth Justus, and Hunter Stanley each added 2 hits for the game in the winning effort. Jordan Hajazin picked up his first varsity win by throwing 3 innings of solid relief in the victory. The Eagles are now 2-1 on the season.
