How long have you been working at Rabun Gap?
I have been at Rabun Gap for 10 years.
What made you choose to work at Rabun Gap?
I felt Rabun Gap would give me the opportunity to truly serve as an Athletic Trainer and grow in those skills.  Choosing to work at Rabun Gap would allow me to work with students all the time.
What did you do before coming to Rabun Gap?
I worked at PT clinic for seven years and provided outreach to Franklin High School.
What makes Rabun Gap special to you?
Working with students from all over the world and alongside some great people. Rabun Gap allows me to be on a similar schedule as my family.
What is it like working at the same school that your children attend?
I really enjoy it.  I get to see my son play when I walk to lunch and my daughter when I go see athletes at the middle school.
Why did you decide to become an athletic trainer?
I have always been interested in the body and how things work.  I love being around sports, so this job provides me with both.  I really enjoy helping people.
What is your favorite aspect of being a dorm parent?
I love being a dorm parent because it allows me to interact with students outside of our typical settings.
What do you like most about working with our students?
The students can be funny and they are from all over the world.
What’s the most interesting thing about you that we wouldn’t learn from your resume alone?
I really enjoy singing.
