Oishy Reza to teach third grade

Oishy Reza will join the Lower School faculty as a third-grade teacher.

Ms. Reza comes to Rabun Gap from Forte Preparatory in New York where she taught eighth-grade English. She has taught elementary and middle school for six years. From 2005-2007, she lived in Senegal and South Africa where she taught math.  Prior to teaching, Ms. Reza spent three years working as an attorney in family and indigenous law. She holds an M.S. in Education from Northwestern University, a B.A. in Anthropology from Vanderbilt University, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota.

In her spare time, Ms. Reza enjoys crocheting, boxing, and traveling. She has lived in six different countries and has fostered several animals. She will reside on campus.
