Joe Farris joins the Middle School as a humanities teacher

Joe Farris joins our Middle School faculty to teach humanities. He will also help coach JV boys basketball and assist with the varsity boys golf team.

Mr. Farris taught Middle School for 10 years in North Carolina and has led professional development and workshops for teachers and administrators in the United States and across the globe. Mr. Farris is a professional speaker and has presented messages of inspiration and hope to young people for more than 20 years. In addition to his career in education, Mr. Farris has served in ministry as a mission director, youth pastor, and camp director. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from North Carolina State University. Mr. Farris has enjoyed many interesting experiences, including starring in several films, backpacking across Europe, and spending a day with Muhammed Ali.

Mr. Farris enjoys hiking, standup comedy, coffee. He lives in Clayton, GA with his wife. They have six grown children and two daughter-in-laws.
