The young RGNS MS tennis squad faced off against a tough Tallulah Falls team Friday afternoon for their first match of the 2019 season. The boys were outgunned 0-5 and while the girls put up a good fight they also lost 1-4. Performances of note were rookie Layla Burnett with an 8-0 victory in the 3rd singles spot and Lucy Vogelbacher & Kendall Weisser in their well-played 8-8 tiebreaker loss in 2nd doubles. All in all, a good showing for a green team. They look forward to honing their match skills at two away matches this coming week.
