Spring athletic season ends strong with two Eagles placing at State Track Championship

The Spring Season ended strong with two Eagles placing at the NCISAA 3A Track Championship meet: Rafal Szymanski ’19 finished 2nd in the 300m hurdles at 39.53 and Jordan Webber ’19 finished 7th in shot put with a 44’9” PR throw.
The Spring Season ended strong with two Eagles placing at the NCISAA 3A Track Championship meet: Rafal Szymanski ’19 finished 2nd in the 300m hurdles at 39.53 and Jordan Webber ’19 finished 7th in shot put with a 44’9” PR throw.  Rafal also placed on the All-CAA Track team, along with Lucas Helmlinger ’18, and Jasmine Williams ’18.  

The Eagles Middle School Coed Tennis team had an outstanding season going undefeated 10-0 and winning the Tri-State Championship.  
Varsity Boys Golf finished second in the CAA with Jackson Koebel-Secky ’21 earning a spot on the All-CAA team. Varsity baseball finished the season tied for second place in the CAA with Asheville Christian Academy.  Three Eagles players qualified for the All-CAA Baseball team: Jake Knowles ‘20, Gai Kumamoto ‘20, and Harrison Shomaker ‘18.  Alex Zorko ’18 had another outstanding season in Boys Tennis and earned a spot on the All-CAA team.  And Girls Soccer closed the season with two All-CAA team athletes: Payton Parks’18 and Claudia Lopez ‘21.
