Art students visit The Bascomb in Highlands

The group had a chance to workshop with resident artist Grant Benoit.
Members of the National Art Honor Society visited The Bascomb in Highlands to learn more about paper as an artistic medium.

The group visited The Bascomb's gallery and took in the exhibit "PaPer View," curated by Sarah Morgan Wingfield, that is showcased in the center from March 11-June 3. This exhibit features work from more than a dozen artists and celebrates the use of paper as a medium and not just a surface.

After experiencing the exhibit, students participated in a workshop led by Bascomb resident artist Grant Benoit, where they learned more about using paper as an art medium.

The Bascom provides stimulating experiences in the visual arts through high quality changing exhibitions and educational opportunities. Learn more about The Bascomb here.
