Lady Eagles dominate Southside Christian 57-23
The Lady Eagles played one of their best games of the season so far, coming out on top 57-23 against Southside Christian.
The Lady Eagles played one of their best games of the season so far. They came out and executed offensively very well as they built a 31-12 halftime lead. The Lady Eagles executed their defensive game plan to perfection as they limited the open looks for the talented shooters from Southside Christian. Rabun Gap shot almost 40% from the floor and went 7 of 14 from behind the arc. Josie Earnhardt led the team with 15 points and 4 rebounds. Derin Akdeniz had her best game of the young season by finishing with 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Claudia Lopez added 11 points and 5 rebounds. Josephine Frimodt had 8 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Manii Lewis had a game high 9 rebounds to go with her 4 points and 3 assists. Rabun Gap (4-2) will travel over to play Franklin High School on Friday at 6:30pm.
