Lady Eagles place 1st and Boys place 2nd in conference meet

On Friday, the Eagles competed against conference competitors coming home with a first place victory on the girls' side and second place for the boys.
On Friday, the Eagles competed against conference competitors coming home with a first place victory on the girls' side and second place for the boys.  The girls won the three relays in which we competed to go with first place finishes from Andrea Maia in the 100m hurdles and long jump, Anna Armfield in both the 1600 m and 800 m runs, Gavron Campbell in the 400 m with a season best of 67.7 seconds, and Jasmine Williams in the 300 m hurdles. 
 
The boys won the 4 x 800 m relay, Kevin Miller and Paul Kasteckas were first and second respectively, in the 200 m dash, Lucas Helmlinger won the discus with a throw of 109 feet, 5 inches, and Miller took first in the long jump.
 
The Eagles have been working hard this spring and are positioned to be strong contenders for the conference championship!
