Outside of actually coaching techniques over the past three months, the coaches stressed how wrestling requires a serious amount of dedication and hard work as well as a commitment to the next season.

Highlights of the season include 6th-grader Miles Watts setting a new middle school win record (18-2), Christian Ritter placing second and earning a silver medal at the Union County Panther Throwdown, and sweeping Rabun, Murphy, and Christ Church at home in December.

Here's what some of our wrestlers had to say about their experiences this season:

"I like how wrestling teaches me to be tougher." - AJ Montoya

"I've gotten stronger through wrestling." - Dominic Vogelbacher

"Wrestling has taught me how to be a meaner athlete." - Miles Watts
