Students learn about world religions on trip to Greenville

More than 50 freshmen experienced an on-location approach to learning about world religions last week.
Students traveled to Greenville, South Carolina on Thursday, January 19, where the visited a local mosque, synagogue, and cathedral, as well as a religious art gallery.

The class learned about worship practices and beliefs. Stops included The Islamic Center of Greenville, The Reform Temple of Israel, St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral and the 
Bob Jones University Museum & Gallery.

Upperclassmen enrolled in Rabun Gap religion classes will take the trip in March.
