Welcome Ms. Quashona Antoine, Lower School Music
Rabun Gap welcomes Ms. Quashona Antoine who will be working part-time in the Lower School as a music teacher.
Ms. Quashona Antoine will join Ms. Agata Potter, current Lower School music teacher, to expand our music programming for our youngest students. She will teach Lower School music on Fridays throughout the 2019-20 school year. Ms. Antoine is a singer/songwriter and has spent many years performing and teaching, not only in the United States but also abroad. Ms. Antoine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Catawba College and has performed everywhere from Disney World to Dr. Maya Angelou’s 85th Birthday Celebration. She has given private vocal lessons since 2010.
“I am so excited to share my love for music with the children at the Lower School and am excited to be a part of the warm family-like environment of Rabun Gap,” she said.
Ms. Antoine and her teen daughter, Saniyah, live in Franklin, NC, where she serves as a worship leader for Discover Church.
