Welcome Ms. Anna Raley, Upper School Humanities

Rabun Gap welcomes Ms. Anna Raley who will be teaching humanities in the Upper School this year.
Ms. Anna Raley is joining the Upper School Humanities Department this year. 

“I am excited to join the Rabun Gap family- it is truly a place that fosters inclusiveness and I have felt welcome since before even setting foot on campus,” she said. “Those feelings have only increased since getting here - everyone is so friendly and open that it already feels like home.”

She has taught history and coached soccer and basketball at St. Michael’s Catholic High School in Alabama. Ms. Raley has also served as assistant director and house supervisor for the Advanced Studies Program at St. Paul’s School.  

Ms. Raley graduated from Huntingdon College with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Secondary Education and earned a MALS in cultural studies from Dartmouth College.  Ms. Raley will coach volleyball in the fall and middle school girls soccer in the spring.
