Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School students awarded by the College Board National Recognition Program

Eight students from Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School recently earned national recognition from The College Board for their performance on the PSAT or AP exams. The College Board's National Recognition Program awards students who score in the top 10% of the PSAT or score at least 3 or higher on at least two distinct AP exams. Students must identify as African American, Hispanic, Indigenous, or attend high school in a rural area or small town.

National Rural and Small Town Award winners were Catherine Childs of Toccoa, GA; Elizabeth Brenner of Franklin, NC; Miona Vukadinovic of Belgrade, Serbia; and Sara Smearman of Atlanta, GA. National African American Recognition Award winners were Omotola Omotayo of Atlanta, GA; Reece White of Dulles, VA; and Shaun Ayivor of Accra, Ghana. Omar Zermeno of Santiago, Mexico earned the National Hispanic Recognition Award.
