Dr. Chelsea Williams joins Upper School as bible and world religions teacher

Chelsea Williams will teach Bible/World Religions at Upper School. In addition to her teaching duties, Dr. Williams will assist with our chapel program and swim team.

Dr. Williams comes to Rabun Gap after earning her Ph.D. in Philosophy, Systematic Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary. She has taught graduate students for the past seven years at Princeton Theological Seminary and New Brunswick Theological Seminary, leading courses in everything from doctrinal Christian theology to church history. Dr. Williams also Worked for the office of digital learning at Princeton Seminary developing pedagogically thoughtful online courses and spaces. She has participated and presented at international theology conferences in the UK and Switzerland. Dr. Williams is an ordained ruling elder of the Presbyterian Church.

She loves to travel internationally;  she has lived in Scotland twice and visited ecumenical Taize community. Dr. Williams enjoys baking, painting, crochet and other crafts.  She will live on campus with her two cats.
