Chris Buckhalter joins the athletics department
Coach Buckhalter will serve as our Strength and Conditioning Coach and assist with our football and track programs.
Prior to coming to Rabun Gap, he worked as the Strength and Conditioning Coach at Presbyterian Christian School for five years and D1 for two years. He is also the owner and operator of Elite Fitness where he maintains facility operations and creates training programs for clients. He holds an M.A. in General Psychology and a B.A. in Christian Ministry.
When he’s not working, Coach Buckhalter enjoys walking his dog and working out. He lives off campus with his son, Joshua '26.
