How long have you been playing football? Are there other teams that you play for?

This is my third year of playing football and I starting playing for my hometown, Wiesbaden Phantoms in Germany.

What position do you play?

Defensive Line

What inspired you to play football?

I always thought it’s a cool sport that I used to watch on tv and then I found out that I got a team in my city which is why I thought to myself that I should give it a shot.

What is the best part about playing for the Eagles football team?

It is a very special group of guys with a great senior class, amazing coaches and a close brotherhood with people from all over the world.

What has been the most exciting game so far for you?

For me it was definitely the homecoming game against charlotte Latin because it was my first home game this year and the atmosphere was great. You could really feel the energy on the field and the fans were much appreciated.

What led you to come play football at Rabun Gap?

Both me and my parents thought that Rabun Gap is the best combination of both, academics and athletics.

Tell us a bit about being a part of the Gridiron Imports Foundation.

It feels good to be a part of this great organization and it helped me a lot with the progress of finding this school and working on the application and everything. The people are awesome and we all are chasing the same dream which is a cool thing.

What is the hardest part of being a student-athlete? How has the environment and people here at Rabun Gap helped you?

The hardest part would definitely be to structure your time because you have to fit your academics and your athletics together. I feel like I have improved a lot on this also because of my teachers and my coaches.

What makes playing at Rabun Gap special to you?

It’s special for me because we can achieve something that no other team could achieve. Having guys from all over the world who didn’t play football their whole life or for who English is not their first language but still we are able to play together and bond a brotherhood is something really special and I am very grateful to be a part of this group.

What is your favorite thing about your coaches?

My favorite thing about my coaches are that they really care for us even off the field. They look at our grades firstly and make sure that we always stay on top of that.

What do you like to do in your free time?

If I got any free time I like to hang out with friends, watch movies or call my parents.

What's your favorite class and why?

My favorite class is my STEAM class because you get to be very creative and you get to work with your hands and build stuff. Also you have to do nearly no paper work.

What are your plans for after high school?

My plans are to graduate high school and attend college to study architecture and play football.

What other school activities or organizations/other sports are you involved with?

I also play lacrosse under the head coach, Coach Linsley who is also my advisor.
