Garrett Kelly to lead boys basketball program

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School is excited to welcome Garrett Kelly to lead our boys basketball program as Head Coach.
 
Coach Kelly brings experience from the collegiate and professional arena to his new role with the Eagles. He currently works for the NBA Assistant Coaches Program where he evaluates players, mentors coaches, and assists in placing candidates in coaching jobs with the NBA and NCAA.He has also served as the Director of Basketball Operations for both Radford University and Siena College and coached at Catholic University and in the Canadian Basketball League. 
 
Coach Kelly is no stranger to Rabun Gap; he has coached the JV boys basketball team since 2019.  He has also created a Player Development Program that supports strength, conditioning, and skill development for the school’s basketball program.
 
"Coach Kelly is an excellent coach with experience working with highly-skilled, elite players and programs.  We are looking forward to having him lead our boys basketball program,” said Head of School Jeff Miles.
 
Coach Kelly holds a B.A. in Communications from Loyola University where he competed for their basketball team.
