Community Service Club donates to children in need

Our Community Service Club donated care packages to Place of Hope, a non-profit organization providing resources for children who need familial, spiritual, and financial support because of abuse, neglect, or homelessness.  The organization’s primary focus is on children and parents in the Foster Care system of Rabun County.

Our students packed 40 backpacks filled with supplies. Each backpack has a fleece blanket, a stuffed animal, a toothbrush, toothpaste, pencils, pens, coloring pencils or crayons, a coloring book or binder, and paper.  One of the backpacks has already been given to a child.  All of the supplies were donated by our Upper School students as well as faculty and staff.
