Four Eagles commit Division 1

Rabun Gap football players have attracted the attention of top colleges
Four members of the Class of 2022 have committed to play football at some of the nation's premier Division 1 programs. Combined, the four players earned 82 Division 1 offers and were key in the Eagles' run to the state championship last fall. 

These Division 1 commitments mark a huge success for our growing football program under the leadership of Head Coach Joe Sturdivant. There are multiple players, in addition to these four, who have pending Division 1 offers. This story will be updated with their commitments when they come in. 


Tight-end Darren Agu announced his commitment to Notre Dame this month. A boarding student from London, Darren earned First Team All-State this fall. He had 31 total D1 offers:
