Alex Mescher, from Otto, NC, will head to Stanford University this fall to pursue his dream of becoming a mechanical engineer and entrepreneur.
A National Merit Commended Student, Alex is at the top of his class academically and is a well-rounded student leader on campus; he presides over several clubs, wrestles on the varsity team, stays active in our STEAM program, and starred in the musical this fall. Stanford is ranked No. 3 in Best Global Universities by US News and World Report and is a highly-selective university with a 4% acceptance rate.
