Wu, Ndiaye earn acceptance to UNC Honors Program

Rachel and Nabi are two of only 450 incoming students to join the Honors Program.
Congratulations to seniors Rachel Wu and Nabi Ndiaye for their acceptance into the Honors Program at the University of North Carolina!

Only 450 incoming students are accepted to the Honors Carolina program, representing 10 percent of the first-year class. Honors Carolina connects exceptional students with renowned faculty who love teaching. Nabi and Rachel will have the unique opportunity to take Honors Carolinas courses with UNC's top faculty, live in an honors residential community, study abroad, and work with faculty mentors on original research.

Nabi is a boarding student from Senegal who plans to study business and entrepreneurship. He wants to return to Senegal after college to open his own business.

Rachel, a day student from Franklin, NC, seeks to major in biology. She is exploring career options in medicine and would like to be a pediatrician.
