Upper School Celebrates International Week

Rabun Gap’s Global Awareness Panel hosted a week-long celebration of global and cultural diversity during International Week on January 25-30.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School is home to students from 56 different countries and International Week gives students a chance to share their culture with the community. Students planned and ran all of the activities.

During tutorials throughout the week, students participated in a variety of activities including trivia, dancing, playing Mahjong and Petanque, and henna.

Friday morning hosted the big event with music, dancing, origami, piñata breaking, and students wearing clothes to represent their home countries. The students enjoyed an International Week Social on Friday night and athletic events and a bonfire on Saturday.
