Boys Varsity Soccer Back-to-Back State Runners-Up

For the second consecutive year, boys varsity soccer achieved the runner-up title in the NCISAA State Tournament.

The team had a great season and finished with a 13-3 record under first year Head Coach Jesse Brown.  The team fought hard in their championship game against No. 1 seeded Carmel Christian.  They held their competitors to a 0-0 tie throughout the first half but, unfortunately lost the game 2-0.  After a tough game, our Eagles came away with their second runner-up title.

Sebastian Zavala ‘22, Jacobo Saenz ‘21, Hugo Garcia ‘23, and Marco Gonzalez ‘21 earned spots on both the All-State and All-Conference teams.  Adne Brako ‘22 and Jordan Grivekov ‘22 also earned spots on the All-Conference team.  Additionally, Sebastian earned the Most Outstanding Player Award, Jacobo earned the Leadership Award, and Timmy Bronaugh ‘21 earned the Unsung Hero Award.
