Girls Varsity Golf Places Fifth in States
2020 was a great year for our Fall athletics. Our girls varsity golf team placed fifth in the NCISAA State Tournament.
The team worked very hard this year with some of them just learning how to play golf. Selah Price ‘21 shot her lowest round at the State Tournament and earned the Coaches Award. Eryn Blakely ‘22 and Jade Blakely ‘24 scored among some of the top players at the tournament. Genevieve Maddox ‘22 and Katherine Tench ‘22 made their golf debut this year and advanced to States. Genevieve earned the Most Improved Award and Eryn earned the Soaring Eagle Award.
