Rabun Gap athletes earn all-state, all-conference honors for fall 2020
Seventeen student-athletes at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School earned spots on the All-Conference and North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association All-State teams for their performances during the 2020 fall season.
Football Eagles football players nabbed 10 spots on the All-State team. All-State honorees for football are: Darren Agu ’22, Lukas Majer ’23, Coleman Bryson ’22, Dominik Sojat ‘21, Aiden Semo ‘21, Kyle Ormsby ’21 of Queens Village, NY, Mezzy Lockhart ‘22, Linus Zunk’22, Ole Krebs’22, and Tucker Holloway ‘22.
Boys Soccer For boys soccer, four Eagles earned spots on the All-State Team: Sebastian Zavala ‘22, Jacobo Saenz ‘21, Marco Gonzalez, and Hugo Garcia. The All-Conference team for boys soccer included six Eagles players - Adne Brako, Jordan Grivekov, Zavala, Saenz, Gonzalez, and Garcia.
Volleyball In girls volleyball, Gianna Sparks ’21 was named to the All-Conference Team.
