Outdoor Classroom officially open at Middle School
The new Outdoor Classroom at the Niles Bolton Middle School Complex is bustling with activity! The new classroom is officially open, after being fully completed during virtual learning this spring and summer. It has already been used for classes, small gatherings, and projects.
The Outdoor Classroom sits high in the trees and offers a unique space for hands-on learning beneath the canopy of the trees. It is centered perfectly for classes to take an academic and research approach to our outdoor setting and offers so much opportunity for learning in the field, streams, and area watershed.

Mr. Jonathan BySura's science classes have already been using the classroom for labs and projects. On Friday, September 4, they were in the stream collecting specimens to study under microscopes.
The official dedication of this space and appreciation for our donors who made it possible will be celebrated later this fall.
