Ashley Crosby signs with Suwanee
Senior volleyball player Ashley Crosby has signed with Sewanee: The University of the South.
Ashley Crosby ‘20 is headed to Sewanee: The University of the South to play volleyball.
Ashley officially signed with the Sewanee in a ceremony on Thursday, February 20 surrounded by her friends and family.
Sewanee is a member of the Division III Southern Athletic Association. Located in Sewanee, Tennessee, the private Episcopal liberal arts college welcomes students from 45 states and 26 countries.
Ashley has been a major contributor to the Lady Eagles volleyball program for the past two years. In her senior season, she excelled on the court and led the Lady Eagles to their first NCISAA state playoff. She also earned the Lady Eagles’ MVP award in addition to top conference accolades.
“Rabun Gap was incredibly fortunate to have Ashley for two years. During her time, she helped Rabun Gap earn our first-ever playoff bid and was named Co-Player of the Year for the CAA conference,” said Lady Eagles Coach Courtney Ledford. “I have no doubt she will excel at Sewanee this fall.”
