Middle Schoolers remember MLK through learning and service

Martin Luther King, Jr's legacy was celebrated during a special day of learning and service on January 17.
Middle School students celebrated the legacy and impact of Martin Luther King, Jr with a special day of learning and service on January 17.

Middle Schoolers had the opportunity to put what they have learned from Dr. King to work through a service trip to the Northeast Georgia Food Bank in Clayton. Students worked together to help organize foods onto pallets, clean the learning kitchen, and sort foods.

At the Middle School, exhibits were set up highlighting different aspects of the life and work of the social justice leader. Students traveled through the pods to gain a greater understanding of the importance of the work that Dr. King did and how that work continues today.
