All three divisions to hold Christmas showcases

Our annual Christmas showcases for the Upper, Middle and Lower Schools will help bring holiday cheer this season.
Experience the magic of the Christmas season this year at our annual Christmas Showcases! Mark your calendars for three straight days of Christmas performances on December 16-18. Admission is free for all shows.

On Monday, December 16 at 5:30 PM, our Lower School students will take the Rearden Stage. Our youngest musicians from strings and music classes will delight audiences with holiday favorites.

Middle Schoolers will perform Tuesday, December 17 at 5:30 PM in "The 1940s Radio Christmas Show," featuring singers, dancers, and actors from grades 6-8. The show recreates the experience of attending a live recording of a 1940s radio show broadcast on Christmas Eve in 1942. Using period songs, the show transports the audience to another time, brought to you by such generous sponsors as Brylcreem Hair Tonic and Palmolive Soap.

Whether it's the under-rehearsed numbers, missed cues, or violent outbursts from a french diva, this production is an entertaining excursion into the mayhem and madness of a live radio show.

Join us for "Christmas Capers," our original Christmas show performed by the Upper School on Wednesday, December 18 at 7:30 PM

This year's production features adapted comedy routines from Abbott and Costello, The Marx Brothers, Hope and Crosby, Lucille Ball, The Three Stooges and more... along with delightful live renditions of classic Christmas songs such as Winter Wonderland, Santa Baby, Deck the Halls, and The Christmas Song.  Laugh, dance and sing-along as we celebrate the Christmas season with the Rabun Gap community.
