Diwali celebrated at the Demmler home on October 22.
Chaplain Rev. Mary Demmler and family opened their home on Tuesday evening, October 22,  to celebrate the Hindu festival of Diwali.

More than 30 students and faculty gathered together to enjoy a festive dinner and hear from Kainaat Trehan ‘21 about the history of the festival and its importance in her home country of India.

The dinner is one of several religious dinners that will be hosted in the Demmler home over the school year. The next one will be a celebration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammed in November.
