Rabun Gap 2 - Summit Charter 0

The Lady Eagles were sent on their final road contest of the season, as they traveled to Summit Charter School in a tri-match for the championship. First, the Eagles needed to seal a victory against #3 ranked Summitt to move on to the Championship Game and they did with extreme prejudice. Milli Watts was on a mission all evening as she obliterated the back row of Summit with 21 consecutive serving points to give the Eagles a 23-6 lead. The Eagles would finish the job, with a Hannah Jane Mellon kill to end set one 25-12. Set two was back and forth until about mid-way through the set, but the Eagles continued to be on fire as they managed something they haven't all year. They killed the ball in consecutive sets totalling 11 kills combined. Hannah Jane Mellon led the team with 5, LE Martin, 2, Milli Watts 2, and Arabella Nepa and Annalise Fon with 1 each. This was a milestone for the Eagles and showed their growth in the offense and with ball control. The continued to bull doze Summitt in set two 25-14. It was now on to the championship
