RG 3 - Banks 2

GIRLS RGNS 3 BANKS 2
What a way to wrap up the regular season, in the newly named, "Southern Mountain League"! Our girls rang the victory bell following an exciting 3-2 win over top-ranked Banks County. Exhibition girls swept all four sets, showing that RGNS has some depth in its wings! Standout performances include third singles Sophia Moore's solid 8-4 win, and both girls doubles teams, including the Carmack sisters, Annie Geren, and Kendall Weisser. Well done all! Complete results below.

While all the details aren't ironed out yet, it appears our seeded boys (7) will be traveling to Habersham County for the playoffs on Wednesday next week, with our seeded seven girls to host Habersham Wednesday AT Habersham (we’re unable to host due to a home Varsity Tennis conference match). The finals for the top four playoff teams will be Thursday mid-afternoon at Tallulah Falls School. More details to follow as we nail down locations and times. After their victory yesterday, our girls are now in a three-way tie for first with Banks County and Tallulah Falls! Those not in the seeded ranks will remain at RGNS to either cheer on their teammates (Tuesday) or compete amongst themselves (Wednesday & Thursday). Normal practice otherwise.
