Ms. Manoogian trains at Georgia Film Academy

The two-week program provided exclusive access to Atlanta movie studios.
Rabun Gap visual arts teacher and Director of The Studio at Rabun Gap Ms. Terri Manoogian had the opportunity to experience Georgia's film industry firsthand.

Ms. Manoogian spent two weeks at the Georgia Film Academy learning the ins and outs of professional filmmaking. The teacher training program was a two-week session held at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta and helps teachers prepare students to go into the film industry. A highlight of the week was the workdays where teachers set lights and filmed a scene in Pinewood's Studio A.

"We all had opportunities to do each of the roles needed to get the image on the film," Ms. Manoogian said  "Another great opportunity is to visit Eagle Rock Studios in Roswell where programs like Ozark and Greenleaf have their sets. Our teacher was a college professor who also is a professional in the business. Pinewood Studios is where Spiderman 3, Avengers Infinity War, and Conjuring 3 are filmed or being filmed."
