Student dancers "come together" for concert and recital

The Studio and Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School's dance program produced this year's Beatles-themed show
It was all about The Beatles on Saturday, May 4 for the “Come Together” Dance Recital and Concert presented by Rabun Gap-Nacochee School and The Studio at Rabun Gap.

Dancers brought the famous band's iconic songs to life in two performances. Beatles songs in the show included “Baby, You Can Drive My Car,” “Yellow Submarine,” “Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band,” “Help!,” “Here Comes the Sun,” “Hey Jude,” and “I Wanna Hold Your Hand.:

Young dancers of all ages performed in the show, including those from The Studio classes at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School’s dance program. Ms. Heidi Spoon, director of dance for Rabun Gap and The Studio, directed the show.

The Studio at Rabun Gap offers afterschool dance and cirque classes during the school year, as well as children and adult art workshops and private music lessons. The Studio is open to the public and students do not have to attend Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School to participate. The Studio also hosts group and private athletic lessons as a part of its Academy Athletics. Registration for 2019-2020 will open in August. Learn more at www.rabungap.org/studio.
