Rabun Gap 12, Fairview School 9

In their 5th game, the Rabungap MS Softball Lady Eagles at Fairview MS won 13 to 9. Record: 3 wins 2 losses. The girls accumulated 12 hits with 11 singles and 1 triple, walking 12 timesin the 6 inning game. Claren pitched the 1st inning striking out 1 batter & gave up no hits and Mili Watts pitched the last 5 innings striking out 5 batters & gave up 2 singles. Claren Spiveyoffensively had 3 singles scoring 2 runs and Mili had 1 triple walking twice and scoring 2 runs Catherine Rauers had 3 singles and walked once scoring 3 runs. Emma Duquethad 1 single, walked once, reached on a fielders-choice scoring all 3 runs. Arabella Nepa had walked 3 times and had 2 steals.  Anni Geren had 3 singles, stole 1 base scoring 1 run. Ruth Mechi-Lozano had 1 single and walked twice scoring 1 run. Kite Stribling walked twice and had 1 single scoring 1 run.Magraret Kelly started the game for 3 innings had 2 at bats with 1 strike out and an in-field out. Eve Kelly finished the game with 2 at bats with a strike out and a walked once scoring 1 run. Defensively, the girls hustled and were able to get 7 outs in the field and the pitchers accumulating 6 strike outsThe girls cheered on to a victory now with a winning record. The coaches are proud of our girls.
